Whenever we get an inquiry for a letterpress project on a colored paper stock that is different than our house stock, its always a challenge. When James contacted us to print his business cards and requested Kraft stock, we were happy to do it. The colors he wanted were red and black. We knew that the black would not be a problem but weren’t sure about the red. Whenever you print on colored stock the colors always seem muted. When we printed the red Isokon logo, the color seemed to look extremely washed out. We decided to run the logo again by giving it a double impression and I’m glad we did because these cards came out great and the red looks nice and vibrant.
